Discover the best of Zanzibar with an exclusive journey that will take you from the serenity of Mafia Island to the vibrant Stone Town Music Festival. We'll start with seven nights on Mafia, where you'll immerse yourself in an almost untouched natural paradise, enjoying idyllic beaches, snorkelling on coral reefs, diving with whale sharks (in season) and total relaxation. Then, we'll move on to Stone Town for three days of rhythm and culture at its famous music festival. You'll explore this fascinating World Heritage city, its labyrinthine architecture, markets and unique history.

Day 1
Arrival and Relaxation
Arrival on Mafia Island: Settle into your accommodation, ideally a beachfront lodge.
Sunset on the beach: Relax with a cocktail and fresh seafood dinner.
Day 3
Diving in Chole Bay
Reef diving: Chole Bay offers some of the best diving in East Africa.
Visit Chole Island: Discover Swahili history and ancient ruins.
Day 5
Excursion to the Venetian Islands
Dhow Safari: Sail on a traditional boat to the islands of Jibondo, Juani or Bwejuu.
Kua Ruins: On Juani Island, explore the ruins of an ancient Swahili city.
Day 7
Farewell with Adventure
Last dive or snorkel: Or just relax on the beach.
Farewell dinner: Enjoy a special candlelit dinner on the beach.
Day 9
Stone Town and the Festival
Morning.
Guided walk through Stone Town.
- Darajani Market, a burst of local colours and flavours.
- House of Wonders (Beit al-Ajaib) and the Old Fort, two of the city's most iconic monuments.
- Visit to Freddy Mercury's House, for fans of the legendary Queen vocalist, who was born in Stone Town.
Lunch:
Local restaurant El Jardin de las Maravillas.
Afternoon and Evening:
More Music Festival performances.
Enjoy local and international artists in the old city fort.

Farewell to Stone Town
Morning
Check out and transfer to the airport.
Day 2
Swimming with Whale Sharks
Boat trip: Mafia is one of the few places in the world where you can safely swim with whale sharks (between October and March).
Snorkelling in the Marine Park: Explore the colourful reefs and amazing marine life.
Day 4
Local Culture
Tour to local villages: Learn about Swahili life and culture.
Cooking workshop: Participate in a local cooking class and enjoy your creations.
Day 6
Beach and Relaxation Day
Kayak or paddle surf: Take advantage of the calm waters around the island.
Spa and massage: Enjoy a relaxing treatment overlooking the sea.
Day 8
Arrival in Stone Town
Morning:
- Internal flight from Mafia Island to Stone Town.
- Transfer and check-in at boutique hotel in the heart of the city.
- Free lunch with recommendations of local restaurants.
Afternoon:
First immersion in the Stone Town Music Festival, enjoying musical performances and the vibrant atmosphere of the city.
Evening:
Group or free dine, with time to explore the festival's food stalls and dining options.
